The moment of the fourth edition of the Swiss Championship of poker has arrived, with a guaranted prize money of 50000 CHF, just like the first edition of SCOP in September 2017. Buy-in is always 200 CHF (175+25), and also the structure has not changed: stacks of 40000 chips with levels going from 20 minutes of Day1 to 45 minutes of Day2, closing with 60 minutes of the Final Day. As tradition, the first flight is set on the 1st of September at 20.00, right after the Final of the Stars of Lugano. The competition continues with Day1B on Sunday, the 2nd of September, and then all the evenings of the first week of the month until the double Day1 on Saturday, the 8th of September. In total, there are 9 flights in which 13 levels will be played, with the set goal of qualifying for Day2 of Sunday, the 9th of September. Chipleaders of each Day1 will win a ticket for the Tiburon, 20000 CHF guaranted, on schedule for the 23rd of September. Daily satellites worth 30 CHF will also be there, they have already started and they will continue until the 8th of September. Special 30 CHF satellites are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays, with 3 guaranted tickets instead. During the 10 days of SCOP 4, 3 Side events are also scheduled: 2 editions of Lugano Night, and one edition of Rise. All these tickets are valid for “Stars of Lugano 7”, and the finalists of SCOP 4 will be guaranted double “Stars of Lugano” tickets and a single one for the “Night of the Queen 2” (worth 150 CHF). The winner will be crowned as the new Swiss Champions after Aris Theodoridis, Cesare Poggi and Fernando Rodriguez.
